The mission of 3S Insurance is to be a community-minded agency that works with quality insurers while providing excellent service to its customers to help protect what is valuable to them. With this mission as our charge, we take customer service seriously and work our hardest to provide you, the customer, with the best insurance solutions possible for the fairest premiums. As an independent agency, we are not beholden to any company but represent many quality companies. This gives us the ability to market your needs to several insurers to find you the best options.
3S Insurance is owned and operated by Douglas Sass. A Charleston native and a tenth-generation South Carolinian, Doug graduated from Academic Magnet High School and later earned his degree from Lander University. Like many young men chasing a dream, he headed west to Montana, where he spent several years working as a cowboy on a ranch. Eventually, he returned to South Carolina, where he met his wife, Morgan. Today, they call Bowman, SC, home, where they raise their two daughters and manage a small beef cattle farm. In his free time, Doug enjoys spending time outdoors and with his family.
